What Are Lash Treatments?
Our lash treatments are semi-permanent eyelash extensions comprised of individual synthetic eyelashes that are curved to replicate a natural eyelash. Our lashes are thicker at the base and taper to a fine point. They are applied on to individual eyelashes, one extension at a time, for a natural, elegant look to lengthen and add fullness to the existing lashes. Self-application and application by untrained individuals is strongly discouraged.
What are Eyelash Extensions made out of?
Eyelash Extensions are crafted from synthetic polyester. Synthetic lashes respond better to wear and tear than other materials. In addition, synthetics have the least possible chance of allergic reactions with human skin. Testing has shown that there are higher percentages of people who will have adverse reactions to contact with lash extensions created from animal hairs, such as mink.
What do they look like and how do they feel?
With proper application, our lashes look and feel completely real. Each application is customized to suit the individual. Varying individual synthetic lash lengths are chosen to carefully replicate the shape and frame of a natural lash line. The thickness of the lashes applied is determined by the health and thickness of your natural lashes as well as personal preference. The overall effect is added curl, thickness and length, opening up the eye for added definition.
Our lashes are designed to be indistinguishable in size and weight to human lashes. They are flexible yet crimp-resistant, and they move with your natural lashes. As long as you keep up with the touch-up applications, it is almost impossible to tell that you are wearing the extensions.
Because our lashes are nearly an exact replica of an eyelash, they weigh about as much as a natural lash: practically nothing. You will not notice the addition of the extensions to your lashes and they will not cause your natural lashes to fall out ahead of their natural cycle as other enhancement methods can.
What are the benefits of a Lash Treatment?
Most women choose to have a lash treatment to lengthen their natural lashes while others want their lashes to look fuller. A number of women with naturally light colored lashes choose lash extensions to darken their existing lashes. Still others love the different, fun looks they can achieve with highlighting and layering.
A lash treatment can create a younger appearance on many clients. A lash treatment by Sobella can create the appearance of a brighter, more open and rested eye, thereby creating a more youthful and rejuvenated look.
Above all, the main advantage of a lash treatment is how much time you can save during your beauty regimen. Lash treatments allow you to spend less time with makeup; mascara is certainly no longer necessary. Because our lashes are bigger at the base, they create the same effect as eyeliner so that step can be avoided as well.
How long does a lash treatment last?
The look can be maintained indefinitely with refills. Lash extensions are NOT PERMANENT and will eventually fall out, typically lasting 4-6 weeks. To maintain the desired look, we recommend your lash extensions be touched up every few weeks.
Can you describe the application process?
You will be comfortably reclined with your eyes closed while the lashes are applied one at a time to your own natural eyelashes. There is no discomfort or pain involved in the procedure. In fact, most clients find it is so relaxing and comfortable that they fall asleep.
I have no lashes at all, can I have a lash treatment?
Because lash extensions are applied to existing natural lashes you must have some natural lashes to receive the procedure. Lash extensions should not, and in many cases cannot, be applied to clients who have alopecia, are undergoing chemotherapy or those who suffer from Trichotillomania, unless and until the individual has received effective treatment and normal lash growth has resumed.
How long does the procedure take?
It generally takes between 90 to 120 minutes to apply a full set of lash extensions. Touch-ups can be done in as little as 45 to 60 minutes.
Common Lash Extension Types
Hybrid Lash Extension
Hybrid lashes are created by strategically applying both conventional and volume lashes. This painstaking approach yields a textured and layered look. The traditional extensions combined with the meticulously placed volume lashes give a natural and voluminous style.
Volume Full Set Extensions
Volume Full Set is a technique where a lash fan is created from 2-6 individual false lashes and applied to one isolated natural lash. Due to the number of lashes being applied, the individual thickness of each false lash tends to be thinner and lighter than that used for classic lashes. Volume eyelash extensions vary from the natural look which adds more length than volume. Volume lashes instead give a fuller, thicker lash look.
Mega Volume Lash Extensions
Mega volume lash extensions are a type of lash extensions that involve attaching 6 or more extensions to a single natural lash. The extensions are extremely thin and applied in fan-like clusters to create a fuller, dramatic look.
Classic Lash Extensions
Classic lashes are the perfect way to enhance natural lashes. With the classic technique, one individual lash is applied to one natural lash to create a set of longer and thicker lashes. Depending on the desired look, there are a variety of curls, lengths, and thicknesses to choose from.
Lash Styles and Effects
Doll Style Lashes
Doll style eyelash extensions make eyelashes long and lush like a Barbie doll, which is how/why the technology got its name. Reminiscent of the classic eyelash extensions, but more elements of the same length are glued in the middle.
Fox Effect
Fox eyelash extensions, as the name implies, are a lash extension style crafted to enhance the eyes, providing a more elongated and almond-shaped appearance. The goal is to mimic the captivating shape of a fox’s eyes through precise mapping and strategic placement of individual synthetic lashes.
Cat-Eye Style
The cat-eye style features shorter lengths gradually lengthening to long lashes on the corner of the eyes, which mimics the shape of winged eyeliner. Cat-eye lash styling creates an elegant lift and an elongated effect on the eyes and even makes the wearer’s face look slimmer!
Anime Lash Extensions
Anime style lash extensions are a type of eyelash extension that mimics the exaggerated, EXAGGERATED style of eyelashes often seen in Anime Cartoons. these extensions are typically longer and more dramatic than traditional lash extensions, giving the eyes a wide-eyed, doe like appearance.
Wispy Lash Styles
The three primary styles are classic, volume, and hybrid. Classic wispy lashes are perfect for those who want a more natural look. The classic wispy style uses thinner, shorter lashes that are applied one by one to your existing lashes.
Wet Style vs. Classic Lash Extensions
The wet-look resembles what volume lashes look like when they are wet before they have been dried and fluffed up. This look is created using very narrow, almost closed volume fans. The overall affect is somewhat similar to Classic Lashes but the difference is that wet look lashes look thicker and bolder.

If you are sick/unwell please reschedule within 24 hrs. (this includes runny noses, coughs, eye infections, etc.) If you come to your appointment sick, you will be
sent home and charged the FULL AMOUNT of the service booked.
No Mascara Or Lash Glue 48 HRS. Before Your Lash Appointment. Please Arrive With A Clean Fresh Face To Your Appointment, Meaning No Makeup.
You Have 24 Hrs. Within Your Appointment Time To Reschedule. A 50% booking fee will be charged for cancellations and reschedules less than 24 hrs. to your appointment start time
Time Is Important! There Is A 10 Min Grace Period. After 15 Minutes your appointment will be cancelled, you will need to rebook and your deposit will be forfeited.
No Call, No Shows will be charged a fee of 50% of service booked. Sobella does NOT offer refunds. Two NO-SHOWS will no longer be allowed to book with Sobella.

If Your Lashes Aren’t Clean, You Will Be Required To Pay A $10 Lash Bath Fee.
NOTE: RESULTS ACHIEVED WILL ONLY BE AS FULL AS ACCORDING TO YOUR NATURAL LASHES.
If you are booking a refill please make sure you have 40% of your lashes remaining (30 lashes per eye). Anything less will result in a full set. No exceptions! If You Can Count Your Lashes, Its A Full Set! Keeping up with your refills every 2-3 weeks and keeping your lashes clean will prevent you from having this issue. If you reach 4 weeks that will be an automatic Full Set.

Sobella Lash Technicians can/will refill other lash artist work. HOWEVER, if the previous set was not applied properly, or if the technician believes it should be removed for ay reason, a removal and a new set will need to be completed.
If there are any issues within 72 HOURS, a free touch up or removal will be offered, this ONLY APPLIES IF CORRECT AFTERCARE HAS BEEN FOLLOWED.
